2015 ABC Supply 500 Preview

After a somewhat surprising win for Graham Rahal at Mid-Ohio, the championship is as tight as it has been all season long at the very top. 2015 IndyCar Season Winners and Losers

Just two races remain on the 2015 IndyCar calendar – one classic oval and one classic road course. Whilst expected dominance from one team has failed to materialise, an unlikely title candidate emerged as the season progressed. With no driver taking more than two wins, three of the nine race winners this year have the most realistic shots at the …

Does IndyCar Need a Virtual Safety Car?

Yellows breed yellows. It is commonplace in IndyCar to see multiple cautions (or full-course cautions, full-course yellows (not to be confused with the WEC version), safety cars, whatever you want to call them) in an IndyCar race, and not uncommon to see the pace car out within seconds of it coming back in after an incident. In fact, it’s one …

2015 Iowa Corn 300 Preview

At just seven eighths of a mile, Iowa is the shortest circuit on the calendar. A test of physical strength in addition to mental strength makes the 2015 Iowa Corn 300 one of the tougher races on the calendar to get a strong result at. Sebastien Bourdais is beginning to cement his name into the IndyCar greats with a brilliant win where he was one lap ahead of the entire field at one point. However, Penske seemed to struggle, and this is starting to allow a few underdogs to get their nose into the ring as we head into the business end of the season.

The 2015 IndyCar season has been a bit of a slow burner to date. We had some woefully dull races early on in the year, despite delivering different winners for each of the first five rounds.
