2019 Bahrain GP Key Stats

Vettel has won the last two Bahrain GPs and has the record number of driver wins there, can he keep the streak going or will Mercedes put a stop to it?

Track Stats:

5.412km long lap

57 lap race

308.484km race distance

14 previous races

6 wins from pole (42.86%)

10 wins from the front row (71.43)

7 different race winners

6 wins from Ferrari

4 wins from Sebastian Vettel

Driver/Team Stats:

Valtteri Bottas could score 1000 points with 4th or higher (or 5th and the fastest lap)

Daniel Ricciardo could also score 1000 points but needs a podium finish

Williams’ 700th start as a constructor (assuming they do start)

Kimi Raikkonen has the most podiums in Bahrain but likely won’t get a ninth

Silly Stats:

Using the average speed of a lap of Bahrain, it would take just over 18 minutes for an F1 car to race from the northern to the southern tips of Bahrain.

Gulf Air (the national airline of Bahrain) have 16 Airbus A320-200s, but you would need 144 of them to lap once around the track.
