This year I’ve been to more races and other motorsport related events than I probably have in my entire life up to this point, so being a man of numbers, I decided to do some stats on my own year of motorsport.

Despite the fact I’ve only watched F1 properly for about 10 years, I absolutely love F1 history, especially the obscure and the weird. So here are the weirdest, unique and interesting F1 cars I can think of. I may do more of these for other things as well, I have a lot of random obscure knowledge in my head.

Quiz full of the 2017 season stats

I love reading up on F1 history, and some of my favourite things to read up on is the strange and unexpected stories and jobs so many former F1 drivers have had, so here’s a quiz of some of the best.

Both me and my Formula E/Opinion writer Jack Amey have bought and reviewed F1 2017, and just for this we now have a YouTube channel for F1 2017 footage (and in the future, maybe more too, who knows?). Both of us have recorded footage, both using a Logitech G29 steering wheel and have a decent gaming PC to run the game on, and no assists, at all.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans is my favourite race of the year, the last couple of years I’ve watched the entire 24 hours live without sleep and will try to do the same again this year.
