Post-race stats

In the first five laps of the Belgian GP five cars retired from the race, so it was a little bit of a crazy start.

Well the German GP wasn’t quite as good for the Germans as they would have hoped.

Hungary was surprisingly dull this year, just one retirement and it came towards the end of the race.

The 50th running of the British GP at Silverstone started under the safety car, and by the time the safety car eventually pulled into the pits half the field switched to intermediate tyres.

Well Baku was an exciting race, action packed around every corner and every lap, so exciting that for most of the race I didn’t even blink.

Monaco was probably even crazier than usual yesterday. It started under the safety car due to the weather and ended dry.

Well… That was one hell of a race! And if you’re fed up of hearing about Verstappen there are two things you can do now. 1. Stop reading this. Or 2. Drink every time you see the word Verstappen, your choice.

Another race down and another win for Nico Rosberg, who has now won the last five races.

What a way to start the season, qualifying was a complete joke (and luckily they have returned back to the previous format already), but the race more than made up for it, despite the slightly predictable result.

The Abu Dhabi GP is over, the season is over, and well, it was all rather disappointing.
