Post-race stats

Magnificent Mexico? Not so much, the return of the Mexican GP wasn’t as good as expected but the crowd were phenomenal.

Best race of the season so far by some way! Further proof of why the United States GP at COTA is very close to becoming my favourite race.

A rather dull Russian GP really, Rosberg started and pole and looked to keep the lead right up until his car stopped working.

A bit of a dull Japanese GP, Hamilton took the lead by turn two and kept it the entire race. Rosberg started on pole but finished the first lap in fourth place after being forced wide by Hamilton.

Win number three of the season for Sebastian Vettel and Ferrari and the first retirement of Lewis Hamilton in 2015.

Magnificent Monza? Not so much, a bit of a slow Italian GP. It started and finished well but once everyone had pitted there was very little action on track.

What a race that was! For almost the entire race you couldn’t be sure who would finish on the podium. Much like in Silverstone the two Mercedes locked out the front row and then lost it by turn one, this time with the two Ferraris prancing ahead of the Silver Arrows. What a race that was! Easily the best race so far this season, the podium ended up with the same three drivers as most races this season but still a spectacular race.

The hills are alive with the sound of horsepower, unless you have a Honda engine. McLaren somehow managed to have a 50 place grid penalty at the Austrian GP, 25 for each driver.

The Canadian GP wasn’t quite as good as I had hoped it would be, but it wasn’t as bad as I first thought.
