The second triple-header of the 2020 season is here, the British GP at Silverstone, before next weekend travelling all the way to Silverstone for the 70th Anniversary GP.

After spending two weekends racing in Austria, we finally move on to a different track and country, and it's one Hamilton is incredibly dominant at.

The break has been far longer than expected, but at last the season is starting. The calendar may still change somewhat during the year, but we start off with Austria, and then go all the way to Austria.

Formula 1’s 2020 calendar was supposed to be its most diverse, its longest and most extensive – travelling to an all-new street circuit at Hanoi, as well as a revamped tight and twisty Zandvoort – a circuit with plenty of F1 heritage. Due to the unforeseen circumstances that have affected the globe, those events are set to not happen in 2020.

Formula One is back for another year, there were due to be a record 22 races in the 2020 season, that figure looks likely to change but Australia is at least going ahead as planned.

The 2019 Formula 1 season has marked the arrival of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc as potential megastars for the future. Five-time champion and the greatest of his era Lewis Hamilton has relished this – and we witnessed a glimpse of something in Hungary that reflects when Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso were the youngsters taking it to Michael Schumacher a decade and a half ago. However, there is a young talent in amongst his own stable – a Verstappen-beater in fact – who should also be within this changing of the guard.

This Formula 1 silly season is yet to really spark into life, even if a few mutters are being made over who sits where for 2020. Some big teams could well shift drivers for what is supposed to be the final year before a complete overhaul of regulations. There is one team that will simply not feature in this year’s …
