What is the first characteristic that springs to mind when you think of a Formula 1 car? Is it fast? Is it nimble? Is it loud? Pretty? Brutal? Any of these would be common answers, but ‘heavy’, ‘chunky’, ‘clunky’ or ‘fat’ probably would not be.
