Testing is over once again and the Australian GP is looming, which means it must be time for the yearly predictions by the StatBlog crew.

With testing over and the Australian GP coming up this weekend, it’s time for the yearly predictions for the StatBlog crew, with often mixed success.

My predictions last year were actually surprisingly good, couple of mistakes sure, but the majority was pretty spot on. And as has become tradition, the three main StatBlog writers will be doing predictions again to see who ends up closest.

Probably fair to say my predictions for 2016 were a little mixed… While I was the only one to correctly predict both championships, I also made a prediction about Renault that was nowhere near, it was bad, really bad…

Last year my predictions were a little bit mixed, some right, some not so much (read them here), so this year I’ve asked my other two writers to get involved as well, maybe between us we can get some better predictions.

Some very early stats this week, but as I’ll be in London for Formula E and Race Week London until Tuesday this is the best time to write everything.

Amazingly last season I got almost all of my F1 predictions right (here) so I’m probably going to get everything wrong this year!

Last season I made some predictions on 2013 (here) and mostly failed miserably! The only one I really managed to get was McLaren having no pole positions and Red Bull winning the Constructors’ Championship, quite poor. Hopefully this season I will get a few more predictions right.

Last season I made quite a few F1 predictions on Twitter, including the obvious Vettel/Red Bull championship, I also predicted podiums for both Grosjean and Pérez and a first win for Rosberg, with a few stats to back up the claims. Now it's time for some predictions on the 2013 season.
