The 19th and final Malaysian GP is here, sad to see it go as it’s always a track I’ve liked, and the weather can be very, interesting.

Well that race was definitely worth getting up early for, had just about everything in it and just as you think it’s calming down it steps up another level.

The stats you need to know (and some you perhaps don't want to know) ahead of the 2016 Malaysian GP, where Jenson Button will aim to start his 300th race.

What a race that was! A bit of a shame that Will Stevens couldn’t take part in qualifying or start the race, but Roberto Merhi’s Manor finished the race! Oh and some German bloke named Vettel won?

First thing, apologies for the late stats, had internet troubles all week. ANYWAY, stats! Hopefully in Malaysia we won’t have a quarter of the field fail to start the race and almost half failing to finish.

Malaysia was a little bit boring, after the first few laps the podium top three stayed in the same positions for the entire race.

Multi 21 and the most awkward podium in F1 history, last year’s Malaysian GP was an odd one.

Buckets of rain! Many safety cars! Cars sliding off everywhere! None of that happened this year, a fairly dry Malaysian GP with just a damp start. Sebastian Vettel won from pole position for the 20th time, behind just Ayrton Senna (29 wins from pole) and Michael Schumacher (39 wins from pole). Webber won’t be pleased however, he could have won his 10th race at his 200th Grand Prix had Vettel followed orders.

The 2013 Malaysian GP should be a pretty interesting race, not sure on the weather, probably wet, but it will be hot and humid as always. It will be the 15th race around the 5.543km long, 15 corner Sepang International Circuit. The race will be 56 laps and 310.408km and Mark Webber & Fernando Alonso’s 200th Grand Prix and potentially Webber’s 10th race win.
