JackStatMan

The F1StatMan, mostly known for coming up with useless F1 related stats about burgers.

Pre-race Statistics of the Hungarian GP

Hungary Hungary Hamilton! By far the worst opening line I’ve ever typed. At the start of the season Vettel hadn’t won four of the races on the 2013 calendar, now just two remain, Hungary and USA. Vettel could also achieve his 40th pole position.

Half-season Graphs

We’re halfway into the season now (pretty much), so it’s time for some graphs of everything I can think of. How teammates are doing head to head, drivers’ championship positions, constructors’ championship positions, everything.

Post-race Statistics of the German GP

Another race over and another win for the championship leader Sebastian Vettel. At the start of the season there was just four races on the calendar that he hadn’t won. Now after winning in Canada and Germany there are just two left, Hungary and USA.

Pre-race Statistics of the German GP

The German GP! One of few races that Sebastian Vettel hasn’t yet won. This will be the 60th German GP and the 40th race at the Nürburgring. Vettel could get his 40th pole or 30th win this weekend and Mercedes-Benz engines could get their 100th pole or fastest lap.

Canada Day – Canadians in F1

O Canada! Today is Canada Day, so much like I have done for Finland and Australia previously here are some stats of the Canadians in F1. In total thirteen Canadians have entered a Formula One World Championship Grand Prix, with eleven of them starting at least one race. Of those eleven drivers only two have even managed to score a point, Gilles and Jacques Villeneuve. I won’t write about all thirteen Canadians as the eleven non-scoring Canadians most of you won’t have even heard of.

Post-race Statistics of the British GP

Wow, what a race finish that was, Mark Webber stormed to the front to put Rosberg under pressure for the win, setting the fastest lap in the process. I’m not sure anyone has mentioned it but it is Webber’s last British GP! If you had a drink every time a commentator mentioned that in the race then you would have been drunk by the first safety car.

Pre-race Statistics of the British GP

SILVERSTONE! The home of British motorsport and the 64th British GP, one of only two nations to have hosted a grand prix every year since 1950, Italy being the other. This will be the 47th F1 race at Silverstone, the British GP has also been held at Aintree and Brands Hatch.

Post-race Statistics of the Canadian GP

I’ll be honest, the Canadian GP was incredibly boring. Bottas impressed in the wet qualifying session with 3rd, the first time Williams have been into Q3 this season. The race was won from pole by Sebastian Vettel by a 14 second gap, which could have been well over 20 seconds if he didn’t make a mistake towards the end of the race and if he wasn’t held up while lapping cars.

Pre-race Statistics of the Canadian GP

This is the 44th Canadian GP and the 34th at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. 14 or 42.42% have been won from pole position, slightly higher than the average of 38.70% of the races on the 2013 calendar. The first championship race in Canada was held at Mosport Park in 1967 and won by Sir Jack Brabham.

Top 10 F1 Drivers by Stats Part 2

Part two of my top ten drivers, part one here, with the top five ranked by stats and stats alone. As previously mentioned these are not my personal opinion and instead calculated and ranked by a formula using all of their various stats. As a little bonus I’ve put the full list of all 32 Drivers’ Champions at the bottom.
