It’s been a while since I’ve done any post-race stats, so I’m bringing them back, and attempting to get at least one post up on the website every week during the F1 season.

Vettel has won the last two Bahrain GPs and has the record number of driver wins there, can he keep the streak going or will Mercedes put a stop to it?

Two races down, two different winners, two different cars and a tie for the championship lead.

So after changing their minds about 20 times between Australia and now, qualifying for the Bahrain GP remains the same as Australia, though by Saturday it will have probably changed another five times.

For the first time this season Sebastian Vettel did not finish on the podium, instead his Ferrari teammate Kimi Raikkonen took a record seventh Bahrain GP podium.

The Bahrain GP is often called the Bore-rain Grand Prix by fans, but the race last year was anything but boring.

Bore-rain? Not this time, the Bahrain GP was surprisingly exciting and action packed, especially after the safety car period.
