Post-race stats

Well, after that end to a race, stats aren’t important, only Jules Bianchi is. For that reason I will not be posting any stats on this race, they don’t matter, I don’t particularly want to write them and I don’t think most of you will want to read them either. #ForzaJules

Another race down, just five left to go and the title fight is now down to just three points, any mistake from either Mercedes driver could easily lose him the title.

Saturday was a new era in motorsport; the start of an all-electric open-wheel racing series. Formula E kicked off in Beijing and had plenty of shocks for the viewers.

Hamilton takes his sixth win and fifth pole of the season at the Italian GP! Rosberg close behind in second, who could have won the race had he not made an error at turn 1 (TWICE!) forcing him to slowly cut the chicane while Hamilton drove by to take the lead.

Well… Spa was a little bit insane, great for the media, not so great for Mercedes.

HUNGARY! What a race! Another win for the happiest man in motorsport, Daniel Ricciardo.

The Germans are coming. The 2014 German GP was led from start to finish by a German driver in a German car, wearing a German helmet.

An absolutely cracking British GP! A few firsts, an exciting wet qualifying and a mad race with battles for more or less every position.

An amazing return of the Austrian GP! A new man on the podium, a non-Mercedes pole and a front row lock out not seen since 2003.

Late stats again! Sorry for that, but the Canadian GP was slightly insane and for the first time this season, Mercedes did not win the race.
